Sunset Point is nestled approximately half way between Bar Harbor and Eastport and easily passed by, by travelers in a rush. Located on tidal shores and only 3 miles off Route 1 we offer campers to stop and smell the roses. The country atmosphere, the scenic down east coastal setting and an accommodating host will make this stop a memorable one. Easy in easy out and pull thrus that accommodate any vehicle length will make this a hassle free overnight stay. Walk along the shore, smell the ocean and observe clam diggers and lobster fisherman do their daily chores. Within an hour's drive you can visit Bar Harbor, Lubec, Petit Manan Wildlife Preserve, Rogue Bluffs State Park and Fishing Villages such as Jonesport, Winter Harbor, Prospect Harbor or take a ride on the world famous Cat.
